Traditionally 'change is good' for consulting firms.  Is that the case with Trump's tariffs?

03.04.2025

An interesting article from consultancy.uk. As the world gets to grips with the reality of worldwide US tariffs we see a flurry of activity from consulting firms outlining possible solutions to lessen the hit and alleviate risk from supply chains and portfolios. We reviewed McKinsey and BCG’s geopolitics teams last year, ramping up their CEO advisory around derisking and turning the state of poly-crisis into poly-opportunity. Although we saw more short termism and caution last year, 2025 must be the year for long term strategic planning and accepting global norms are not returning anytime soon. We are available for exploratory discussions on how to build resilient teams in the second half of the year to fit with any plan.
